Counselling & Psychotherapy

Counselling/psychotherapy provides a safe and confidential space for you to explore your emotions, feelings, thoughts, dreams and experiences. It encourages greater autonomy, self-responsibility and self-awareness, which can lead to a more balanced way of relating to yourself and others and enhance the quality of your life.

Whether you are experiencing a life change, crisis, traumatic event or a recurring difficulty, it can be helpful to get support rather than struggle on your own. Alternatively you may cope well but are somehow feeling dissatisfied or uncertain about the direction of your life. You do not have to be in crisis to benefit from counselling or psychotherapy. Whatever your needs are, it can be an effective means of addressing your issues. In my experience problems presented are often symptoms for underlying conflicts as well as opportunities for personal growth.

There are many different reasons why people seek out counselling and psychotherapy.

This can be about a current crisis you are facing, current or past trauma or childhood issues that are affecting your life now, relationship issues or you are looking to find more meaning in your life.
